We are now seeking a communications talent to grow in the strategic position of Employee Communications Manager. The purpose of the position is to support Amer Sports to reach its strategic goals through active, creative employee communications, strengthening employee engagement, and nurturing a culture of determination to win, team spirit, fair play and innovation, in line with Amer Sports values. 


In this role, you will:
  • Plan and implement communications activities and programs that support Amer Sports strategic goals and initiatives
  • Create compelling content and messages to engage all Amer Sports employees about the progress and priorities of Amer Sports
  • Communicate major change initiatives within Amer Sports through appropriate channels
  • Arm people managers with briefings and materials that inform and mobilize employees
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues globally to ensure local employee communications plans are aligned with global communications strategies
  • Work seamlessly and collaboratively with Business Areas, Global Functions, and other key stakeholders, in delivering high standard employee communications plans
  • Act as the Chief Editor of the Group intranet and employee newsletter
  • Participate in external communications 


To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of communications trends and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can manage and deliver excellent performance from teams and individuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English and Finnish)
  • Fluent content creation and copywriting skills in a variety of formats and media including articles, blogs, presentations, videos etc.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing or related field preferred.
  • Candidate should currently be finishing or have a degree in communications, marketing or related subjects from university or polytechnic.
