We are looking for a

Commercial Marketing Manager

to join our Marketing team at Vantaa.

As Commercial Marketing Manager, you are the primary interface with Amer Sports country marketing teams to drive outstanding marketing plan execution. You ensure that best practices are quickly shared between the countries, solutions for executional roadblocks are quickly found, the brand is optimally positioned with consumers, commercial impact is maximized, and information flow routinized between global and regional teams. This role owns the marketing toolkit for lifecycle initiatives, and develops assets to inspire and connect with consumers across the globe. Specifically, this role:
  • Acts as a pivotal point to ensuring and enabling local marketing plan execution in accordance with global strategies. Through frequent communication with the markets, this role serves as an easily accessible interface to drive consistent implementation of marketing activities.
  • Owns the Go-to-Market (GTM) marketing calendar and ensures alignment with NPD, Sales and eCom calendars. Defines regional spending guidelines based on global strategies and local practicalities.
  • Leads the creative process to turn lifecycle product initiatives into campaigns and GTM assets that inspire and connect with consumers, ultimately building brand equity and creating product demand. This covers post-launch product campaigns, software upgrade communication, partnership and seasonal promotion materials, and conceptual brand building campaigns.
  • Ensures GTM toolkits are smoothly deployed and fully understood, then collects implementation insights to drive continuous improvement with each initiative. Works with global marketing colleagues to continually refine global strategies and plans.
  • Seeks brand partnerships that build brand awareness, relevance and consideration.
In this role your main internal interfaces would be the headquarter Marketing teams, local Marketing teams, Product Development, Design team, Commercial and Sales managers, and the Instore Excellence team. External interfaces would be creative agencies, production agencies, and of course, our consumers.

What we expect from the candidate

You have strong commercial marketing experience, preferably a minimum of 6 years, and experience working in an international matrix organization. A natural people person, you have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to lead others with your convincing influencing skills. You have the ability think of the bigger picture yet also pay attention to detail, and a strong drive to follow-up and make things happen. You have a positive mind-set towards your work and people around you, yet are not afraid of driving change to make things more efficient. You have at least a bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration. Fluent English is needed to perform the role.  Sports industry, FMCG and/or Consumer Electronics experience are a plus.
